Poor service!!!
On the 12th October 2019 I went to replace a tyre at Tyre Mart Centurion West branch . They fitted a "new" tyre and I left for home. As i park the car at home I notice that the "new" tyre was running flat and I alerted my partner immediately. He came and took the tyre to the garage to check where is the leak. He noticed that the tyre was leaking on the inner side and the part that is leaking is marked with a white marker. Note that the leak is on the side and not on the part that touches the ground when the vehicle is on motion. The shop was already closed by this time and they don't open on Sundays. My partner put on the spare wheel as a temporary solution. On Monday I went back and showed them the tyre. After a long debate the manager said that he will contact Continental to come and assess the tyre and I had to leave without the tyre. Now as a customer I am being made to wait and drive without a spare wheel instead of being given a proper new tyre and leave, then they can sort out the issue of the damaged tyre with Continental. Now I have to suffer and drive without a spare wheel whilst they must still assess the damage. The fact of the matter is that my car was fitted with a damaged wheel! The issue here is between Tyre Mart and Continental!
