As an Event Venue Maple Ridge is proud to have International Event Status with GHS (The Horse Society) which is the governing body of Gauteng.We host several graded and training shows a year, for all disciplines, grades and age groups. Please feel free to set up an appointment to discuss and view the venue for your tailor made function.Maple Ridge has 6 thatched en suite rooms that are suitable for a weekend getaway, family gatherings or just a way to experience horse life. We also have facilities for your caravan with beautiful & clean ablution. The farm can cater for a variety of functions such as school activities, weddings and conferences. Tailor made packages can include sleepovers with an outing to the Sterkfontein Caves, horse riding, obstacle course, mountain biking, hiking, bonfires and many other teambuilding activities.Maple Ridge was originally a farmland with an oasis of trees on it - As we drove into the property we immediately knew this was a very special piece of land. Rising to the challenge of producing a venue with a relaxed atmosphere has been the greatest achievement. Maple Ridge today is a Livery Yard and a riding school. We have a few rooms for guests and we are set up to cater as multi-functional venue for any sort of functions and our goal being a wedding venue with a very different rustic horse flavour.Maple Ridge Equestrian Farm is set amongst natural indigenous acacia in the Cradle of Humankind, 35 kilometres from Johannesburg and only 3 kilometres from the Sterkfontein Caves.Enjoy the natural splendour and serene landscape of Maple Ridge Equestrian Farm. Set amongst natural indigenous acacia Native acacias provide the food and habitats for a variety of birds and countless species of insects.
