Wolf Brothers Jewellers is a well established, trusted family business specialising in diamond jewellery, diamond rings, engagement rings, fine jewellery and designer watches.The Wolfs soon noticed that customers appreciated the personal, individualised service of an owner-managed business. They listened to their customers requests, and provided new services. Soon they opened a small jewellery workshop in the back of their premises, where they could fix or alter jewellery, change a watch battery, or make an adjustment to a watch strap. At the same the brothers also noticed how many customers came from out of town. They launched a large mail-order catalogue, so that out-of-town folk could order deliveries from the shop premises. Soon they were dealing in a wider range of fine jewellery, diamonds, watches and even gramophones. The business continued to grow and prosper, even when two world wars drastically affected means of supply.By the early 1970s, both brothers had passed away, and the business was in the hands one of their previous employees. By this time, the business had subsided to a modest offering on Voortrekker Road in Parow, Cape Town. At this time, Melvyn Greenstein was a travelling entrepreneur in his mid-20s. He purchased the business with a vision of recreating the Wolf Brothers Jewellers of old. Today, Wolf Brothers Jewellers comprises five branches – three in and around Cape Town and two in Johannesburg. The company has come a long way since these early beginnings, but the business still operates on the core values that Angel and Isador established all those years ago. Wolf Brothers is still owner-managed and we invite customers to contact us with whatever need or interest they might have.
