Faulty base
I bought a base and foam mattress from fair Southgate branch in may 2022 from the Southgate branch. The base was faulty and they exchanged it and the 2nd one was worse than the 1st one, the one hole is even loose. They have promised me that they will send someone to inspect the bed and haven't done it. I lodged a complain with cgso in September and they recommended that they should refund me they refused to and cgso sent someone to inspect the bed in November the report came back and the bed was declared defective. They recommended that they should refund me after the investigation was completed they still refused to pay the full amount and collect their bed. I have bought another one from another store which is perfectly fine, they want me to accept the exchange and last week i called head office and today again to be told that they say the bed isn't faulty. I don't know where they get the information from and I am tired of running around for almost a year now.
Poor customer service
I bought a 4 plate stove at fair price in August at Eloff Street jhb, I realized after a week that the stove had no oven tray, I went to report the male manager/supervisor he told me to bring the recipe, I went again the following week I found the female manager or supervisor she was very very rude, shouting me in front of her staff and customer that why I took so long to report the matter, when I told her that it was not the first time I came to report the matter, she didnt want to listen, even today I haven't got the oven tray
