The business was established in 1988 by Mr Stephen Colegate, the uncle of the current owner, Andrew Colegate. Andrew and his wife Leanne Colegate strive to offer their clients personalised service at competitive prices.They specialise in hand-crafted, unconventional and custom designed jewellery.Another speciality and trademark of the Colegates are their magnificent ?ǣArt Jewellery?ǥ where they incorporate various types of indigenous woods, vegetable ivory (a type of fruit), semi-precious and precious stones, fossils and diamonds.Andrew and Leanne are both qualified gold and silversmiths and work in various other types of precious metal. Andries Skosana, also a qualified goldsmith, has been with the company since 1996. Leanne is a qualified and certified diamond and gemstone grader.Stephen Colegate Jewellers has a client base which stretches all corners of the world and our store has been in the same location since 1988. With a lot of our work generating a demand from buyers abroad, we happily and safely courier orders wherever the client may be.All our work is completely individual and original.
