Since 2004 Rochester took this concept of “affordable luxury living” from the two original stores and grew this to the current 13 branches nationally, Rochester is experts when it comes to “made to order” products and with over 100 years of expert furniture retail experience employed in the management of the company we are the choice of over a thousand customers every month.-We use motion parts, which are fully imported and internationally considered to be amongst the most reliable brand of motion mechanisms. -Most suites have 5 independent mechanisms – 2 in the 3-division, 2 in the 2-division and 1 in the chair, which are mounted independently of each other to allow individual settings. -Each chair can be positioned only 7cm (70mm) from the wall and can incline fully without touching the wall. -Each moving mechanism has 62 riveted moving parts and 38 fixed-point parts -Mechanisms are engineered to weight capacities of 150kgs and incorporate safety features i.e. the minimal use of scissor action joints on the footrest and the use of the expanding safety footrest feature on the hi-lift chair. -Mechanisms are epoxy coated and rust repellant. -Mechanisms are covered by Alpine’s 2 year guarantee and fully serviceable through Alpine’s reputable back up service.
