ACD Voortrekker Value Serve
CV Joint "Repairs" Fiat Doblo
On Friday 23 March enroute from Bloemfontein to Nelspruit I experienced CV problems with my Fiat Doblo. I was referrred to ACD Value Serve where I was told they will be able to assist me, this was just after 11H00 The CV s were taken out and send to be fixed at approx 17H00 the car was " fixed and ready" R 4300 odd (CASH) later, now they've broken my window glass, as everything was closed I was requested to come back the next morning. The next morning I was given various excuses and when I insisted that I had to leave by 11H00 latest for Nelspruit and that I had to make arrangements to stay over the previous night I was told by the Owner that it was not his problem. He then got rude and abusive and eventually agreed to pay for the window glass as they could not get any from a scrapyard. After just a 1000+ km's the CVs were cracking and popping and I had now choice but to take it to be looked at and pay another R 1300 odd. I was told that the CVs were at the stage where it can breakdown completely, CV boot rubber were packed with grease and left hand TRIPOD completely dry and the Rollers inside were not only DIFFERENT sizes but missing parts, this placed my life and that of other road users at RISK. Email was sent to Hugo and Dawie with photos, NO RESPONSE from them on the matter, take it the FRANCHISER condone this type of service. My advise to the public - STAY AWAY FROM THIS OUTLET, not only will you save yourself a bag of money, but also the trouble to try and sort out this matter
