Rhapsodys Centurion
Rhapsody’s offers a natural ambiance which is lively yet effortless, simple yet delicious, stylish yet relaxed.
Elegant decor and an extensive array of superior wines form part of the perfect backdrop for our superb culinary flair. This is one restaurant which really makes a statement in terms of the design and interior décor. Impressively presented over 3 floors it is glamorous and sophisticated. Located in the prestigious Centurion Gate Centre, the first thing that catches your eye are the mist sprays strategically positioned along the railings of the ground floor terrace. These ensure that patrons are kept blissfully cool whilst taking in the far reaching views over the whole of Centurion, and practical concertina glass doors fold right back to ensure that there is an excellent indoor/outdoor flow to the terrace. The décor is immensely appealing with its palette of warm earthy colours, and the copious use of wood, brick, stone and slate harmonise perfectly to create a very vibrant interesting interior. Splashes of dark orange, dramatic lighting, well displayed ceramics, and a water feature cascading down the wall at the entrance, ensure that there is plenty of visual stimulation to enhance your dining experience. Ascend the modern steel and marble clad staircase and you will arrive at the mezzanine level, which in itself is a feature of the interior as it hovers dramatically between the two floors. The top floor offers comfy leather couches for chilling out, an enormous curved bar counter, a private conference/dining area which can accommodate 50 people, and a huge balcony for al fresco dining. On Friday and Saturday evenings the vibe is brilliant with a DJ and dancing until the small hours. The bar serves some of the best cocktails in town (both classic and exotic) as well as a range of Martinis and plenty of shooters. Let’s not forget the food - the menu offers plenty to choose from including several dishes for vegetarians and a good selection of fish and pastas. The steaks are always popular (try the Avo & Brie Fillet or the Jalapeno Rump) as is the Coconut and Coriander Chicken. Other meat recommendation is the Lamb Shanks.
