Welcome to Isabella's Cake & Food shop.Isabella’s Cake & Food Shop seating 50 was opened in August of 2008 in the leafy suburb of Groenkloof Pretoria. It wasn’t exactly easy to locate, but that was the craziness and I believe, the success of the concept! I wanted to challenge myself to create a special, cozy little eatery by making sure that each and every person left my place with a story to tell. Relying on pass by trade wasn’t what I had in mind. The entire concept was designed as a destination find…. Once you heard about it, you had to find it and once you had gone so far…. You were hooked! I was looking for a certain clientele, one who appreciates the finer things in life. Thereafter a second store seating 110 was opened in September 2010 in the area of Waterkloof Pretoria. Isabella’s currently has 9 shops and we are opening a further two sites in 2013. Keep an eye out for our one-of-a-kind Petite store coming soon to Pretoria!Pastries are baked daily with our Red Velvet Cake, Nougat Cheese Cake and Carrot Caramel cakes among the favourites - just the perfect accompaniment to a refreshing cup of your favourite blend of tea. Lunch is a fabulous feast with favourite being the roast lamb wrap, bacon brie and fig quiche and crumbed chicken sandwich on freshly home baked white bread. Issabellas also try to get their hands on as much organic and free range products as possible. The coffees are top class with “Illy” being the house brand.
