Our famous fish and chips recipes have been secretly kept for over four generations and has built our reputation.We believe that fish and chips are one of the world’s finest dishes!
Our meals are cooked with great skill and passion by our experienced chefs, and served with a smile.The Fish & Chip Co remain fully committed to environmental issues.We take great care in sourcing only the finest local and seasonal produce and you can rest assure that our fish are of the finest quality available, and are only sourced from sustainable and well managed fishing grounds.We seek to maintain a high standard at all times.-We only use wild fish (not farmed).
-All our fish comes from sustainable fishing grounds.
-We only use fresh potatoes which are prepared daily on the premises.
-We only use vegetable oil free from additives, low in Trans fats, contains no hydrogenated fats and no nut produce.
-Our oil is continually changed; all the waste oil is collected and is made into bio fuel.
-We use a thick cut chip for a lower absorbency of oil to provide a much healthier product.
-All our fish is always bought locally and is of the finest quality.Remember! Fish and Chips, fresh food at it's finest, from the land and sea to the plate, delicious, nutritious and totally natural.Fish and chips from fish and chip shops are freshly prepared from natural products.Fillets of fish, mostly hake or cod but sometimes plaice and whiting, are covered in batter, fried until golden and served with freshly chipped potatoes. Fish and chips are a wholesome dish and lower in calories than many of their fast food rivals.

THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS I EVER HAD!!!
I am new to Broadacres after living in Cape Town my whole life and it was my first time and this store. I ordered a Large Hake and Small Chips with a Just Juice on Friday the 25th November 2016. I was very warmly welcomed into the store by a young lady (Someone with the name starting with P) who asked if I want my fish traditionally battered and fried or grilled and whether I would like my chips slap, original or crispy. Not knowing this store I chose to go with her recommendation which was freshly battered and fried and original chips. My order took about 8 minutes and was served in newspaper printed box with the chips at the bottom and the fish on top. The chips were the best I ever had, not oily and slightly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just the way I like it! I was told they so good because the store only uses fresh farm potatoes, not frozen and pure palm oil which is changed daily. For health and personal reasons my main source of protein has always been fish for the last few years so I know fish well! This was absolutely the best fish I have ever had. The batter was crispy, not oily and the fish was flaky and not over cooked. Thank you and with all the fish I eat, I will definitely be your best customer lol. :p.
