Welcome to Wilderer Distillery.Wilderer Distillery was established by Master Distiller, Helmut Wilderer, in January 1995, as South Africa’s first private Grappa distillery. Initially situated in Stellenbosch, Helmut moved his state– of– the art distillery equipment to Paarl– Simondium in early 2000. Wilderer Estate, on the R45, has become not only the home of Helmut, but also the Home of Grappa and where his son, Christian, has built up one of the winelands’ most popular little restaurants– “Ristorante Pappa Grappa”.In January 2013, Wilderer opened a second Distillery and restaurant on the award winning Spice Route Destination Farm in Southern Paarl.Having won over 50 international medals and awards, Master Distiller Helmut Wilderer has created a product and a brand of choice for connoisseurs around to world.Pappa Grappa - Relax in the cosy atmosphere with a fireplace inside or soak up the sun in the well manicured garden,
