A limited range of beers and spirits are served.The Duck Pond Restaurant is situated inside the Wine Tasting building at Welmoed Winery (?ǣcompany of wine people?ǥ) on the R310 (Baden-Powell Drive or Spier Road) just outside Stellenbosch.Up to 50 people can be accommodated inside the restaurant with the lawn in front of the restaurant seating a further 60 people on wooden benches. The lawn can also be used for marquee functions for bigger groups.A paved island in the middle of the pond, reached by a footbridge, can accommodate approximately 80 people and may be used for functions and barbeques.The Duck Pond serves country style food focusing on a lighter, healthier approach while using the freshest ingredients from the area.
